Olympia Le-Tan Spring 2015
In recent seasons Olympia Le-Tan's clothes have filled a Luella-shaped void in the fashion community. One designer with their own perspective is not replacement for another, but there is a sense of fun and whimsy in Le-Tan's creations that echo the defunct Luelle brand and is sadly rare in fashion designers today. As more collections continue to push a black & white trend, minimalism and austere style it's nice to see that it is still possible to have fun with fashion. Many of the looks border on costume-y, but I loved the oversize pencil shapes which are the perfect complement to her famous book clutches. View the full collection here.
